Support for Full-Time Students
College life is likely to be different to what you have been used to, but we are here to support you every step of the way, from your first contact with us, right through to the achievement of your final qualifications.
We start by ensuring that you are satisfied with your choice of course and are secure in your aims for the future. You will also have plenty of support when you first arrive to help you settle in and begin your studies.
- Students have an induction and freshers’ fair on their first day to help them meet other students and to find their way around College.
- Every student is assigned a personal tutor who meets them for a weekly tutorial session and who is there to help at all times. Your personal tutor supports your attendance and punctuality, your personal and social development and assists with your applications to university and work.
- Expert advice is available as and when students need it from a Youth Worker, Chaplain, Counsellor, Nurse and Careers Advisors to name but a few of the many professionals on hand to help.
