JCB Global Award for Yale College Apprentice

Yale College is very proud of their engineering apprentice, Daniel Biggs who has become JCB Apprentice of the Year for 2011 at the company’s recent “Global Awards” ceremony.

Demonstrating drive, enthusiasm and ambition, diligent Dan has been recognised for his exemplary record for attendance and hard work meeting JCB expectations and showing a level of maturity well beyond his years.

Stuart Hughes, Director and General Manager of JCB Transmissions said: “The JCB Apprentice of the Year Award is very hotly contested and Daniel’s success is well deserved recognition for all his hard work and effort.”

Highlighting dedication to quality and high standards, this is the second accolade acquired by Yale’s able apprentice, who has also gained an award from the “Engineering Employers Federation” (EEF) “The Outstanding Achievement by a First Year Apprentice” award for Wales and he will now represent Wales at the national finals in London.

“We are delighted for Daniel,” says Graham Williams, Trainer, Mentor at Yale College, “his awards are well deserved and typify his commendable drive and determination for success.”

Dan has really impressed his peers, employers and tutors spending time with former apprentices and adopting their motivation he is well regarded for his keen interest and willingness to learn.
