Mount Kilimanjaro Challenge for Yale College Tutors
Congratulations to Gary Jones, Plastering Lecturer at Yale College who successfully climbed Mount Kilimanjaro for charity.
Determined Gary took up the challenge asking for charity donations and raised £960 plus gift aid for Nightingale House Hospice. Colleague Steve Davies, Lecturer in Floor Laying at the College shared success with Gary but was disappointed to be affected by AMS (altitude sickness) precluding him from the final ascent night to the summit. Steve donated additional charity monies to Macmillan Nurses Appeal.
