Memorial Gallery

Situated within the old Wrexham and East Denbighshire War Memorial Hospital the Memorial Gallery provides an ambient atmosphere in which to view art, craft and media exhibitions from an exciting range of artists

The exhibition programme is embedded in the Art, Media and Design curriculum and Yale students use the gallery as a visual learning resource to support and influence their working practice.

The gallery also arranges a varied programme of activities to accompany its exhibitions including artist lectures, residencies, workshops, and outside visits. These inform and enhance the students experience and understanding relating to their project work.

Visits to the gallery by the general public are welcome and we regularly organise school workshops and events. Please contact us to organise a group visit or activity.
