The AS/A level Physics courses, which lead to WJEC Certificates, teach a wide range of skills. Students will learn how to conduct an investigation methodically, how to reason logically, how to manipulate data, and how to communicate their knowledge to others. They will become familiar with the use of Mathematics, IT, and the operation of a variety of measuring instruments.

A BTEC Level 2 Diploma is a practical, work-related course. You learn by completing projects and assignments that are based on realistic workplace situations, activities and demands.

The BTEC Extended Diploma in Applied Science (Medical Science) is a practical, work related course. Learning methods include completing assignments, case studies and projects which are based on realistic workplace situations. You will learn about the demands and legislation which exist in the Science workplace as well as developing a wide range of scientific and transferable skills in preparation for a career or higher level study.
