C&G Level 1 Diploma in Workbased Horse Care
Dates: 31/07/2011 – 28/07/2013
This industry recognised qualification covers the day to day skills required for working with horses in the equine sector. All the work covered by the qualification will be carried out under supervision. This is reflected in the unit titles that describe ‘assisting with’ or 'under supervision', specific tasks and functions. The qualification will provide a good grounding in horse care.
C&G Level 2 Extended Certificate in Horse Care
Dates: 31/07/2011 – 28/07/2014
Course Fee : £20
These qualifications meet the needs of learners in a centre-based environment who may wish to work within the horse care industry or progress to further learning and/or training. These qualifications allow learners to develop underpinning knowledge whilst practising skills that could be used within employment in the horse care industry.
C&G Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Horse Management
Dates: 31/07/2011 – 28/07/2014
These qualifications meet the needs of learners in a centre-based environment who may wish to work within the horse industry or progress to further learning and/or training. They allow learners to develop underpinning knowledge whilst practising skills that could be used within employment in the horse industry.
EQL Level 1 Certificate in BHS Riding Horses
Dates: 31/07/2011 – 30/07/2013
Course Fee : £20
A British Horse Society qualification where candidates will be able to ride schooled horses in an enclosed environment in a balanced sympathetic manner.
AGORED Taster Courses - Equine
Dates: 29/07/2012 – 29/07/2014
The purpose of this qualification is for candidates who require a stepping stone between entry level and a full level 1 qualification. It can also be used as a taster to the industry.
