Welcome to the Governance section of the Yale College website. Here you will find information about the Governing Body and its meetings. Yale College Governing Body has currently nineteen members who serve for a period of four years at a time and give their services without being paid.

The Corporation was established by Act of Parliament in 1992 and operates in accordance with the Instrument and Articles of Government approved by Parliament in 1999 and Standing Orders and Terms of Reference approved by the Governing Body and reviewed annually. The Governing Body has also approved a Code of Conduct for its members. Members are also required to declare any interest which may conflict with their role as Governors.
